Myth #1: The best way to deal with oily skin is to dry it out.

Myth # 2: A good cleanser should foam on the skin.
Many of us have been taught that if your cleanser is foaming, that means it’s working. Not only is this piece of advice false, but it is hazardous to your health. Sodium laurel sulfate (SLS), for example, is a highly effective foaming agent that is found in 90% of all commercial soaps and shampoos.
