Looks That Thrill
Looking to add a little mystery to your winter wardrobe? Then pick up the December edition of Trend, W magazine’s fashion and beauty supplement, for expert tips on adding some classic intrigue to your year-end look. In an article called “Hitchcock Hip,” beauty editors hearken back to a bygone era where femme fatales lit up the silver screen and nothing was quite as it seemed. Forget flapper chic, this winter’s to-die-for look is smart and sophisticated with an edge (and an alibi).
Among the trends to be on the look out for are double-breasted hound’s tooth wool blazers and tweed coats (Trend recommends Dior and Mac & Jac) reminiscent of Ingrid Bergman’s damsel-gone-double-agent in Notorious. Both items pair well with silk or merino wool, which softens the look and adds a touch of femininity (think Grace Kelly in To Catch a Thief). Must-have accessories include antique blonde-colored pumps and a paired-down black leather bag (for those secret correspondences).
For makeup, Trend suggests Pür Intensity Gel Eyeliner in Carbon to complete this classic, confidential look. Combining the dramatic definition of a liquid liner with the application ease of a gel formula, Pür’s smudge-proof, budge-proof gel liner creates a bold, beguiling eye look that’s very noir chic.

Still loving Pur Minerals and have gotten all my friends to love it, too! =)
