Last week's Meet the Experts event at Dillard's in Perimeter Mall was a true success! Hundreds of Atlanta-area Pür fans stopped by to meet President Joli Baker and the Pür National Artistry Team and learn the tricks of the beauty trade.Event attendees watched live demonstrations and received complimentary makeovers featuring the award-winning 4-in-1  Pressed Mineral Makeup!

Last Saturday at Dillard's in Stonecrest Mall, hundreds of Pür lovers and kind-hearted Georgia residents showed up to support Dress for Success Atlanta and meet celebrity guest DeShawn Snow, star of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta and Founder of the DeShawn Snow Foundation.

With free Pür Minerals makovers and gifts (attendees received a FREE 30-day supply of the award-winning 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup in exchange for a charitable donation), live demonstrations and additional appearances by Miss Georgia USA and Miss Georgia Teen USA 2009, the beauty event and fundraiser was indeed a smashing success!

Dress for Success promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Necessary and acceptable donations include women's business apparel sizes 14 and up; stockings and hoisery of any size; shoes size 8 and up; and monetary contributions.

Dress for Success Fashion Show Recap

Last Sunday was Dress for Success Atlanta’s 2nd Annual Designed for a Purpose Fashion Show, and Pür Minerals was there to help support the charitable organization.

Pür Minerals President Joli Baker helped judge the competition, which consisted of six immensely talented designers. The winner of the contest was Ariunbileoj "Aruk" Ochirvaani and the people’s choice award went to Marka Miller, but the real winners are the hundreds and thousands of women who will benefit from the event’s proceeds.

The clothes were fabulous and the makeup was flawless, with products and makeup artistry services donated by the Pür Minerals team. On a green note, each designer was required to display one ensemble made entirely of recycled materials. The evening of fashion, beauty and fundraising also delivered a stellar performance from the Brittenum Twins of American Idol fame. Overall, the event truly was a success.

Dress for Success with Pür Minerals!

Join Pür Minerals in supporting Dress for Success Atlanta and experience an evening of fashion, beauty and fundraising at the 2nd Annual Designed for a Purpose Fashion Show. Pür will be donating beauty products and makeup artistry services for models, and President Joli Baker will be judging the competition.

Designed for a Purpose will be held this Sunday, August 17th, at the Atlanta Airport Marriot. The show is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm, and will also include a live auction. Dress for Success Atlanta is one of 82 chapters affiliated with Dress for Success Worldwide, a charitable organization which provides interview attire and professional skill development to help underprivileged women retain jobs and advance in their careers.
